In the Jesus Storybook Bible, the author paraphrases Jesus’ words and explains why the Book of Revelation is in the Bible, and writes this, “Write down what you see, John, so God’s children can read it and wait in happy excitement!”

The promise of Revelation, along with all of the promises of God are meant to do something in us today.

Why is it that we read the promises of God and still feel scared, or alone, or as though He will fail? Because we do not take that promise and apply it to our hearts in the moment!

How do we do that, then? How do we apply God’s future promises for our present fulfillment?

Listen here for yesterday’s sermon on Luke 1:57-80 for the answer.
