I had the pleasure of receiving my trophy from the President. Our team had one the championship and we got to meet and be congratulated by the President…drum roll please…of our town soccer league. The president was also my dad so I kind of already knew him. To meet the President of the United States however you must be an important person or have done something of importance.
What does it take to meet God? Do you have to be rich, or important, or successful, or know the right people? Thankfully the answer is, “No.” But what then is the answer? What kind of person does get to meet God and dwell with him? In today’s passage, David the Psalmist ponders that exact question. Fair warning, it doesn’t look good for us to make it, but stick to the end and we’ll find the way we can.
